Candace's Polar Plunge, March 8, 2025
Candace regrets that she didn’t do the polar plunge on our Antarctic Cruise. The Quarry Swim Club on Crusher Road in Hopewell, had a polar plunge as a fund raising event. Candace decided to do it and make up for missing the one in Antarctica.
The Quarry pool is actually the hole remaining from an old rock quarry which naturally fills with water. There would have been a rock crusher on the site - hence the name Crusher Road.
