World Tour, March 13, 2023, Cambodia II

We took a bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap on March 12. We stayed in the Golden Temple Residence, a very nice hotel near Pub Street. The hotel arranged a two day tour of the nearby ancient temples for us. On March 13, we were picked up by a small bus (or large van) with a driver and a guide. The van made stops at several hotels to collect all the tour participants. At the end of the day, we were returned to our hotel. The same bus and guide picked us up the second day.

While driving between temples, our guide would often give us a talk about what we were to see, local history, or Cambodia in general.
