Windstorm, March 13, 2010
We had a huge windstorm overnight and most of the day on March 13, 2010. Weather people were saying hurricane force winds but not a hurricane. We lost the second of three tops of our blue spruce and one of the hemlocks, which fell on the Gypton's fence, taking out a piece of the side fence and a piece of the front fence. Also, overnight the house at 17 Tara Way burned to the ground. Probably not caused by the storm, but certainly exacerbated by the storm. Finishing touches were being put on before closing, so no one was living in it.
