The “Messiah,” December 10, 2024
Our friend Emily, an accomplished singer, invited Candace and me to a performance of the “Messiah” at St. Thomas Church on Fifth Avenue in New York on December 10. Before the performance, the three of us had dinner at the nearby Fig and Olive restaurant.
We got to know Emily one summer when she performed with the Princeton Festival and stayed with Candace.
