Thanksgiving, November 23-26, 2023
On Tuesday, November 21, I drove up to visit Amy in Wyndham, CT. Jeff arrived Wednesday and we went to Willibrew for dinner with some of Amy’s local friends. On Thursday, we had a very tasty Thanksgiving dinner. Jeff made the mashed potatoes, Amy made everything else. Jeff and I brought some Groth wine which went very well with football and turkey! On Friday, we visited the New England Air Museum located near the Bradley International Airport. This museum has a great collection of airplanes. The museum acquires old planes and volunteers restore them. The restoration makes them look like they did when they were flying and in some cases, the insides are also restored. On Sunday, Candace made a Thanksgiving dinner at her house in Princeton. She and her Mom were in New York for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade and had not yet had the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner!
