The Sourland Conservancy (of which I am a member) puts on the Sourland Music Festival. This was the 15th year for the music festival and my first time attending. I went with Candace and her friend Peggy. We had tickets for the VIP tent which is definitely the way to go. No need to worry about rain and there’s all the food, wine and beer you could want.
In addition to performances by seven bands, the festival attracts local vendors and organizations who set up tents that one can visit while listening to the bands.
The Conservancy’s goal is to protect and preserve the Sourland Mountain region of New Jersey, a semi-primitive area just north of Pennington where I live. It’s great bike riding country which is why I’m glad to help the Conservancy.
