Ohio Trip, April 5-10, 2024
On Friday, April 5, Candace and I drove to Wooster, Ohio to visit Candace’s mom, Beverly who lives in the zone of totality for the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse. We left on the fifth, because we were expecting the traffic to get very heavy just before the eclipse.
We spent an evening at the Elks Club at a benefit for the local lacrosse team then visited Beverly’s friends Blaine and Julie who’s 10th anniversary was the day of the eclipse. They threw a very nice eclipse/anniversary party!
The next day we went to Cleveland to watch the Guardians play the Chicago White Sox. Frank, an avid baseball came with us. The Guardians lost, 7-5.
