On Thursday, December 30, I rode down towards Washington’s Crossing. I had recently read in the paper that a bike/pedestrian path had just opened on the north (upstream) side of the new Interstate 295 bridge over the Delaware. This new path connects the Delaware and Raritan Canal tow path on the New Jersey side to the Delaware Canal tow path on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River. I decided to continue south past Washington’s Crossing and check out the new path.
It turned out to be a very nice path and I’m sure it will get a lot of use in the future!
