Hopewell Memorial Day Parade, May 27, 2018
Candace and I rode the “Freedom Trike” in the Hopewell Memorial Day Parade. According to the organizers, it’s the oldest Memorial Day Parade in the state. I believe they told me the first was in 1891.
There was seriously bad weather overnight and into the morning of the parade, but it cleared out in time and the parade had only a few sprinkles.
Most of the photos below were taken while we were waiting for the parade to start or waiting to join the parade.
