FANY Ride, Day 6, July 26, 2013

Friday’s ride took us from Cobleskill to Johnstown. Johnstown has been on the route before, but we came from the west. This time we came from the south, mainly along the valley of Schoharie Creek,  and saw some new things. The day was chilly to start but overall a beautiful day.

I followed the cue sheet for 59.7 miles and 4082 feet of climb. I had to walk the first hill out of Cobleskill. This was a tough day to come right after a day with 7000 feet of climb. Many FANY rides have not had any days with as much as 4000 feet of climb!
