Thursday, we rode from Hamilton to Little Falls. The first part of the ride had the same hills that I had to walk sections of last year. Didn’t walk them this year. But they did slow me down a lot. Jane and I had decided to meet for breakfast at Kylie’s Diner about 24 miles out. I way underestimated the time it would take to get over the hills and was almost an hour late. Jane got to drink a lot of coffee!

It was a nice day but got quite windy in the afternoon. I decided I didn’t want hills and headwinds, so I took the 7 mile shortcut on the cue sheet and wound up with 61.3 miles and 4486 feet of climb.
