FANY Ride, Day 4, July 27, 2016

Wednesday we rode from Auburn to Hamilton. This was the first of three really hilly days. It was hot! And humid! Did I mention hilly? We were only missing one H: headwinds.

I’m pretty sure the steepest (but not the longest) hill on the ride is the one right before Tuscarora Lake. My GPS data shows 14-15%. I didn’t have to walk it, but I was sure winded at the top. Two years ago we rode the same hill and I don’t remember it being as tough. But that year it was a rainy day and much cooler, so I was probably feeling stronger when I got to the hill.

Followed the cue sheet for 77.6 miles and 4543 feet of climb.
