Bruce Partridge Retirement, March 28, 2009

Bruce Partridge retired from Haverford College and there was a symposium and dinner in his honor on March 28. Bruce was an assistant professor at Princeton when I came as a graduate student in 1968. He was one of my mentors. In fact, the author list for my first Princeton paper was Boynton, Groth, Partridge, and Wilkinson. A few years later, Bruce moved to Haverford. Before he retired, he served as Provost as well as Professor of Astronomy and chair of the Astronomy Department.
