Candace and I visited Brittany (Nantes, France), Scotland, and Ireland leaving on September 9 and returning September 23, 2024. Originally the plan was to visit Brittany and Scotland (hence BS Tour!).

We took a flight from Newark, leaving on September 9, and arriving in Paris September 10, where we got a train to Nantes where we arrived fairly late in the day, so we walked around a bit, had dinner and returned to the guest house of Marie-Claude who was a great hostess. Also, she had visited NYC and wanted to talk about that.

We spent the next few days exploring Nantes and especially the Castle of the Dukes and Duchesses of Brittany (in the early 1500s it belonged to Anne of Brittany).
