Alaska Cruise, May 29-June 5, 2026
From May 29 to June 5, there were 9 of us on an Alaska Cruise, leaving from and returning to pier 91 in Seattle. The group included Candace, my kids, Jeff and Amy, my sister Barbara, my brother and his wife, Rick and Julie, and my almost sister and her husband Lynne and Glen.
Our plans morphed on the fly, but what actually happened was: Barbara, Jeff, Amy, and I flew to Seattle and checked into a Holiday Inn less than a mile from pier 91 on June 27. Candace, Lynne and Glen arrived on the 28th (they traveled together form northern California). Candace stayed in the Holiday Inn while Lynne and Glen stayed in a nearby Marriott (previously booked). On the morning of the cruise, Rick and Julie drove to the dock and rest of us took the hotel shuttles to the dock.
When the cruise ended, Rick and Julie, and Lynne and Glen returned to their cars and drove home. The rest of us took the airport transfer with Barbara and Jeff flying home. Amy flying to Madison, WI for a worm conference and Candace and I flying to Cleveland to visit Candace’s Mom in Wooster Ohio.
